TEEGO Introduces Automatic Ball Teeing Machine At PGA Merchandise Show

PONTE VEDRA BEACH, FL (January 28, 2005) TEEGO, a Ponte Vedra, Florida based golf product manufacturer, has introduced a mechanical, automated golf ball teeing device at the PGA Merchandise Show on January 27-30.   TEEGO is a new, patent-pending product that mechanically dispenses and tees a ball for golf swing practice.  The product is unique because it is portable, completely mechanical and comparably inexpensive. By using TEEGO during a practice session, golfers can more effectively train their bodies for a proper swing because they no longer need to stop, bend over and re-tee a ball between strokes.

The system features an innovative process of storing and placing balls on a tee quickly and accurately after each swing.  A golfer simply taps a button with his club head after each swing and a mechanical arm swings down to place the next ball, effectively ensuring better muscle training by allowing for repetition and consistency without delays between strokes.  Using a TEEGO allows a player to swing four times more balls during his practice session.  Designed for portability, the new device is lightweight, can easily be stored in a car trunk and includes a convenient strap for carrying.

TEEGO is also unveiling a bristle tee that grips the ground with its four spikes, providing excellent stability but a low profile to limit obstruction.  Designed to be used with the TEEGO system, it can also be used as a replacement for wooden tees.

TEEGO is available for purchase at or by calling 1-800-MYTEEGOx4.  During the show, TEEGO is located at Booth #9644.
